The activities of Frontiers in Mathematical Sciences are intended to create a structure for the communication and international cooperation between mathematicians in Iran and abroad.

The main activities include annual conferences, accompanied with a number of mini-courses delivered by the invited speakers, with the aim of presenting new developments in the mathematical sciences. Besides, a math summer school is held each year for undergraduate students. The first conference was held at Sharif University of Technology in December 2012, while the first summer school was held at IASBS, Zanjan in August-September 2015.
