Higher Rank Diagonal Actions: The Low Entropy Method
Abstract: 

We will give an overview of the low entropy method developed by E. Lindenstrauss in his proof of the Arithmetic Quantum Unique Ergodicity Theorem. The method is based on the study of leafwise measures. We will briefly recall the construction of leafwise measures and their basic properties, then will outline how they are used in the proof.
